Watch a special Movao LIVE Talk with Zainab, Caleb, Henry, and Kiera
In honor of Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, we hosted a special Movao YouTube LIVE event on April 23, 2025. This powerful and engaging discussion celebrated a global movement that brings our community together—empowering us to embrace and take pride in our differences.
Join Rebecca Legon and her guests—Zainab, Caleb, Henry, and Kiera—as they share honest, inspiring stories of limb loss, trauma, resilience, and transformation. Each of them overcame personal boundaries and now achieve incredible things because of, not in spite of, their limb differences.
Whether you're living confidently with limb loss or just beginning your journey, know this: you're not alone. Our paths may be unique, but together, we can uplift, support, and grow stronger as a community.

About our guests
Caleb from South Africa lost his leg in a shark attack, but after his accident, he rediscovered his relationship with the ocean. Now a Paralympic surfer, he bravely swam with sharks for the documentary 'Beyond the Bite.' Passionate about conservation, he advocates for shark protection andworks to change perceptions of these misunderstood creatures.
Zainab from Dubai was just a child when an undetonated bomb from the Gulf War exploded in her garden, leading to her amputation. Growing up in a region with little awareness of disability didn't hold her back; she has become an adaptive athlete, social media sensation, fashion model, and TV presenter—constantly breaking barriers and challenging misconceptions.
Henry from the UK was travelling the world when an accident with a hydraulic post rammer crushed his arm while working on a remote cattle station in the Australian outback. Returning home as an amputee after the best year of his life was tough, but he hit the ground running in his mental and physical rehabilitation. Through Adaptive CrossFit and cold water therapy, he found a way to manage PTSD and inspire others.
Kiera from the UK lost her leg in a motorcycle accident in Paris. A fitness enthusiast, she was shocked by the lack of physical activities available for amputees after her recovery. So, she founded LimbPower, advocating for amputees and working with the UK government for over 15 years to improve sports and fitness opportunities for amputees and the limb-different community.
Get moving. Movao is excited to launch three new adapted yoga sessions with Fiona Callanan throughout April, coinciding with Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month. (Click here) to join in and be notified!
